Cowrie Shells Statement Bracelet
Shells & Seed Beads on Hemp Bracelet

This is my version of some tribal jewelry;
First I crocheted the base of this bracelet. I hand-stitched the Job's Tears natural seed beads along the center. The cut Cowrie shells had to be sorted and organized first to create an even row of decoration. I sew each to the side of the bracelet going around twice for a more sturdy result.
The closure is a loop & knob.
This piece came out perfect for an average wrist - 7" - there is a little extra room for my wrist, which is 6½".
