Beaded Shell Pendant on Crocheted LINEN Rope
No metal jewelry
This design was inspired by some Native American Shell pendants that are decorated with turquoise and other semiprecious gems.
Statement Necklace or Choker:
I crocheted a LINEN yarn rope with a loop-knob closure & a Bone Button.
The natural big orange shell is partially covered. The flat lapis lazuli beads are stitched onto the crocheted linen piece.
I drilled 5 holes in the shell and used them to secure the beaded cover on top.
A thinner linen rope loop holds the shell on the main rope.
The shell is 3¼" across and 3½" in height.
This is a very time-consuming design!
It takes a long time to make the rope - zoom in to see how intricate it is!
This necklace pictured is 21" long, but I'll be happy to make a shorter one for you!
